Prelude et Tango – Drawing inspiration by the elements of the French folk chansons, the introductory track of the album unfolds with a cadenza performed by the solo instrument. This solo is soon accompanied by the string orchestra, creating a dynamic interplay between soloist and orchestra made of melodic phrases enriched by distant modulations. A nod to J. Kosma’s “Autumn Leaves” sparks a tango that dances with modern flair, yet carries the unmistakable scent of Europe between the two World Wars. In this piece, the soloist takes centre stage, his virtuosity shining through with a masterful touch.

Prelude et Tango – Ispirato da elementi di chanson popolari francesi, il brano introduttivo dell’album si apre con una cadenza dello strumento solista a cui si unisce l’orchestra d’archi in un gioco di interplay tra solista e orchestra fatto di frasi melodiche arricchite da lontane modulazioni. La citazione del primo tema del brano Autumn Leaves di J. Kosma, accende un tango dal carattere moderno e dal sapore europeo che ricorda il periodo storico tra le due grandi guerre. Il solista ha la parte virtuosa e predominante del brano.
